On a more serious note, we have seen severe reactions to eggs and peanuts. So, anyone feeding my children please be aware. Give the ladies anything you want (and they'll eat it) but, with our Prince James, ask me first! He reacts still to unknown foods and seems to always have a rash.
You should talk to your pediatrician about it. They can refer to you an allergist where he can be tested so you know for sure what it is he is allergic too. Rachel was throwing up pretty much everything she ate for 1 1/2 years and it wasn't until I casually mentioned it to her doctor that she said she should be tested for allergies. Sure enough she is allergic to egg whites and egg yolks as well as all Milk products. Since we have cut all of that out of her diet she has been gaining weight and has stopped throwing up. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteHe has actually seen a pediatric allergist and has had some blood drawn. We are still waiting on test results. The funny thing is that I have five children and I never worried about what they ate (allergy-wise) until the baby of the family comes along. Now I am right on top of him and watching every time he eats something new, epi-pen at the ready. Poor fellow - no wonder he's always hungry!
ReplyDeleteHe likes his apple though. Talk to Denise too, her little Cannon has a lot of allergies so she is an expert on allergies too.
